What do you do?
Essentially I am an artist. Through traditional means: art, photography, writing and music as well as through wellness coaching and spiritual guidance. I love all things creative and expressive.

What is your background?
Art, music and dance. I was also always called to a spiritual path since I was young. My Mother supported and encouraged my spiritual growth as a child.

Tell us a little about what you are working on right now:
I am working a lot with authentic community – how each person has a gift and if recognised, can express and grow with that natural beauty they have inside them. I love it when people come together and ‘weave’, or compliment each others gifts. It’s incredibly beautiful, like petals unfolding into full bloom.

I’ve also just completed my second book.

What inspired this idea?
I used to yearn for human connection and to be heard. It took a long time for me to emerge out of myself; to find my voice and trust. The people in my life over the years who held me (and listened) to a deep level, without judgement, inspired me to embrace my gifts and step out into the world. I moved beyond the social conditioning of comparison and competition and let go of needing to be something I wasn’t.

What is the most challenging thing about this project?
It’s interesting because I had a yearning to be seen and heard, yet, these have been two of the most challenging things for me! It has also been about overcoming limiting beliefs about self worth and realising that what I do and say has value.

What is your favourite part of your job?
Being completely raw, open and honest.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
There have been many, in fact I feel simply being alive is an incredible accomplishment! Some have been overcoming inner fears or deep challenges. Also standing up for what I believe in; freedom of choice, equality, authentic voice, respecting fellow human beings and nature. Another is following my calling even when it doesn’t make sense (which is more often than not!)

Do you have any advice for women wanting to enter this industry?
The Wellness industry yearns for authenticity. Believe in yourself and what comes natural to you. I feel that each person has a unique gift inside themselves. I can only be who I am, I cannot be someone else. When I feel and see another embracing who they are and living their gifts, it’s like watching poetry in motion.

Who inspires you the most?
What and who inspires me the most would be my (soul) family, the beauty of nature and a passion for traveling. Everyone I come across inspires me! Human nature fascinates me.

What motivates you to keep going?
A profound connection to my purpose and my support system. Also the anguish I have witnessed in my life. I have a deep passion for creating more awareness around a tough topic in the world (abuse). The way that people treat themselves and each other can sometimes be devastating. I had someone help me stop the cycle in my life, and I am here today. It is a pure gift to be able to hold someone else in their story and support them through difficult times. There’s still so much mistreatment in the world on so many levels and it’s time to wake up.

How do you create balance in your life?
Day spa, massage, girls day out! Regular trips away to replenish and rejuvenate. My favourite of late is some hot springs where you can see thousands of stars above and it’s so quiet you can hear your own heart beat.

According to you, what is the definition of success?
Reaching a deep, divine joy and empowerment within. I’ve heard so many stories of people overcoming hardship it brings such an amazing appreciation for the human spirit. There is spiritual success and physical success. For me, success is knowing who you are, your purpose and having the resources to carry that out in this life.

What is your opinion on eco-friendly brands?
I adore everything organic, natural and eco-friendly! This shows consciousness and care for the wider community on a physical level, spiritually, economically and consideration for the Earth for generations to come.

Best beauty advice/tip:
Trust in your unique beauty! Staying or going organic is looking after yourself.

Words to live by:
Live your light (be authentically YOU).
